Can we give up on the idea that the cases are all coming from colleges and social gatherings now? In the last month (sorted by cases):

  1. Colleges: 52 cases from 23 clusters
  2. Restaurants: 72 cases from 29 clusters
  3. Places of worship: 77 cases from 15 clusters
  4. K-12 schools: 77 cases from 26 clusters
  5. Childcare: 78 cases from 50 clusters
  6. Social Gatherings: 79 cases from 33 clusters
  7. Organized Athletics/Camps: 93 cases from 28 clusters
The same clusters produced the following close contacts (now sorted by this data point:
  1. Colleges: 34
  2. Restaurants: 84
  3. Social Gatherings: 96
  4. Places of worship: 105
  5. K-12 schools: 247
  6. Organized Athletics/Camps: 331
  7. Childcare: 335

Oh, and in case you're curious about cases and deaths...
Deaths from last week ticked up a bit and we're now back above the couple weeks I mentioned yesterday and back to looking to June 21 to find a week reaching the same level (aside from the immediately preceding week)
Cases.... we've already seen 1168 cases this Monday which is greater than any single day from May 19 through LAST WEDNESDAY... and Monday will continue to increase. Tuesday, which will increase by triple digits in tomorrow's report and likely do so again in Saturday's, is now 700 is already higher than any day from May 27 through Sep 27.
