Fun with MA COVID-19 Reporting 07-Jan-2021 Edition (bitesized)

Last Saturday I predicted we'd reach 400,000 confirmed cases by Jan 15.... I now predict we'll reach that a bit sooner given that we're at 393,188 today and since yesterday we had found slightly more than 7,000 and we had found over 6,000 between Tuesday and Wednesday.

Last week's daily average is higher than any previous week by nearly 200 cases or a 4% increase over that previous high from Nov 29.... and there are still new cases being found for the last portion of the week.

The good news is that I was wrong about our having started a new period where we see no days with a death toll under 70.... but given that last week's average was 70.1, I'm not sure just how good that news is...

Stay safe. Stay sane. Stay informed.
