Fun with MA COVID-19 Reporting 22-Mar-2021 Edition (Bitesized)

Yesterday, I predicted that by the end of the week, we'd see that last week would have marked a second week in a row of increased cases.  We didn't have to wait long for that prediction to be proven true.  Last week now stands at 1,456.14 cases per day, which is a 5% increase above the previous week.... and the numbers for last week will likely continue to increase for a few more days.  In fact, yesterday I mentioned that I wasn't sure if we would reach mid Feb levels of 1,486-1,502... that now seems highly likely and will replace my prediction from yesterday.  We still may not reach early Feb levels (1,793-2,367) for last week but given that we just re-opened even further starting today, and given how quickly we've started increasing again, I wouldn't be surprised if we surpass those levels next week.

Stay safe. Stay sane. Stay informed.
