So, the last week of September we stoped the downward trend and we're now seeing us bouncing around in the 60's... with that said, while the last week of September saw 0.3 additional beds per day being used the week prior and last week both saw a reduction of 9.7 and 9.1 beds being used per day, which is great to see... sadly this week hasn't been so kind thus far. ICU beds and intubations saw the same type of situation as general beds.
Cases were continuing their downward trend till last week and we may have now reached the bottom of the fall 2021 reduction, having gotten down to 19.3 cases per 100,000 people per day (for reference, the highest category that the CDC has is 14.3 cases per 100,000 people per day).
June 20-26 2021 - 65.7 cases per day ( 0.95 cases per 100,000 people per day)
Jun 27-Jul 3 2021 - 79.0 cases per day ( 1.15 cases per 100,000 people per day)
July 4-10 2021 - 118.1 cases per day ( 1.71 cases per 100,000 people per day)
July 11-17 2021 - 264.0 cases per day ( 3.83 cases per 100,000 people per day)
July 18-24 2021 - 478.4 cases per day ( 6.94 cases per 100,000 people per day)
July 25-31 2021 - 720.3 cases per day (10.45 cases per 100,000 people per day)
August 01-07 2021 - 999.3 cases per day (14.50 cases per 100,000 people per day)
August 08-14 2021 -1156.3 cases per day (16.77 cases per 100,000 people per day)
August 15-21 2021 -1315.6 cases per day (19.09 cases per 100,000 people per day)
August 22-28 2021 -1443.0 cases per day (20.93 cases per 100,000 people per day)
Aug 29-Sep 4 2021 -1557.1 cases per day (22.59 cases per 100,000 people per day)
Sep 12-18 2021 -1658.6 cases per day (24.06 cases per 100,000 people per day)
Sep 19-25 2021 -1533.1 cases per day (22.24 cases per 100,000 people per day)
Oct 3-9 2021 -1316.6 cases per day (19.10 cases per 100,000 people per day)
And last week's known cases will likely increase a bit by the end of this week... Sep 26-Oct 2's counts increased by 23 cases per day between last Wednesday's report and today's... yeah, last Wednesday the prior week was 1303.1, so you can see how I might suspect we've reached the bottom and are now increasing again.
