Fun with MA COVID-19 Reporting 12-Nov-2020 Greater-Greater Somerville Local Edition

Since the state's color coding is now BS, I've decided to make my own which is somewhat based on the old color-coding but augmented to allow a bit more scalability given that "red" would align with communities seeing 8 cases per 100,000 people per day AND communities seeing 50, which seems like it's not so useful.  The below color-coding is a trial run this week...

  • Green - Less than 4 cases per 100,000 people per day
  • Yellow - Greater than or equal to 4 and less than 8 cases per 100,000 people per day
  • Orange - Greater than or equal to 8 and less than 16 cases per 100,000 people per day
  • Red - Greater than or equal to 16 and less than 24 cases per 100,000 people per day
  • Maroon - Greater than or equal to 24 and less than 32 cases per 100,000 people per day
  • Purple - Greater than or equal to 32 and less than 40 cases per 100,000 people per day
