Reviewing a post from 3 months ago...
On August 1st, I wrote (among other things)
I don't know what else to say but that that was 3 whole months ago and he still hasn't done anything to stop the spread from picking up and the cases have indeed picked up.
Also, I said "And Gov Baker is worried about us thinking that a 1-day count of 429 makes us look bad? Monday had 477 new cases and that count will likely continue to grow for another week. Baker thinks a 1-day increase of 429 makes us look bad? How about what's likely to be at least 2 days with more than that since Tuesday's count of 373 is 38 more today than it was yesterday and likely to also continue to increase for another week." ... we're now seeing single day increases that are 3 times as high as the one he wanted to make excuses about.

"Baker suggests this is just because of a few parties where there was an explosion of cases. Give me a break. We let down our guard when the state told us it was ok to go back to work and to start going out to eat indoors and going to movie theaters and museums.Baker, you can't wish this away. You can't blame it away. Others have tried before you. Enough already. Face the fact that we re-opened too far too fast and we need to scale back. This all started with phase 2b based on the timing of cases so it's time to move back to 2a at least... or really try to get us back on track by scaling us all the way back to the start so we have a chance of driving down the case count. Keep in mind, It took us almost all of April and May to bring the cases down consistency below 1,000 per day the first time... how long do you think it'll take us this time with schools and colleges re-opening."
