Fun with MA COVID-19 Reporting 20-May-2021 (Clusters)
It's been 3 weeks, so let's see how the clusters are doing and which ones have shifted in the race. Just a friendly reminder that the residence-based settings are removed on account of, well, you can't really prevent spread within a place of living, the whole effort has to be preventing it from spreading outside and coming in.
- Child Care Tier - I'm gonna go ahead and relabel "God Tier" since Child Care is always the highest spreading non-residence setting by such a long shot.
- Child Care - 224 clusters causing 255 cases.
- High Tier - Colleges & Universities come in next as is the new normal, at least until summer. Industrial Settings shoots up in comparison to others, bypassing High Tier, but really is just remaining consistent with itself between reviews.
- Colleges & Universities - 51 clusters causing 109 cases.
- Industrial Settings - 39 clusters causing 91 cases
- Medium-High Tier - K-12 and Organized Athletics stick to the tier and Social Gatherings make a hook shot to get in on the tier this time.
- K-12 Schools (totally safe though, right?) - 59 clusters causing 76 cases
- Organized Athletics & Camps (but sure, no masks needed anymore) - 48 clusters causing 60 cases
- Social Gatherings - 29 clusters causing 58 cases
- Medium Tier - Recreation/Cultural jumps up to a new tier
- Restaurants & Food Courts - 38 clusters causing 37 cases
- Recreation/Cultural - 9 clusters causing 35 cases
- Retail & Services - 27 clusters causing 26 cases
- Medium-Low Tier - Hospitals climb to the medium-low tier by virtue of remaining right about how many cases they caused last review.
- Hospitals - 11 clusters causing 13 cases
- Other Workplaces - 13 clusters causing 11 cases
- Places of Worship - 10 clusters causing 10 cases
- Low Tier -
- Offices - 14 clusters causing 9 cases
- Other Food Establishments - 9 clusters causing 4 cases
- Other Healthcare - 2 clusters causing 2 case
