One of the Potential Long Term Health Effects of COVID-19: POTS

Estimates suggest that 13% of people who get COVID-19 also experience long term effects and these effects can be very problematic. One of these long term effects has been found to be POTS, which can be treated but is sometimes chronic, and the treatment is not always covered by a healthcare provider. There is a theory that POTS is caused by the body's efforts to fight COVID-19, so... yeah, consider that for a moment. The vaccines help our bodies learn to fight COVID-19, that's literally how they work... they don't just block the disease from coming in. Vaccines are critical to the fight against COVID-19 for several reasons, but they aren't a magic barrier and we need to do all we can in this fight.
