Fun with MA COVID-19 Reporting 08-Nov-2021 Edition (bite sized)
It's been a bit since I've done a Monday post... that should tell you that I've got some bad news. This is not something that was fully unexpected or anything but we're now firmly back to seeing increasing spread. Last week, with the numbers still coming in, saw more cases than any of the preceding 3. It wasn't as high as the same last year but it's higher than the preceding week was last year. We're back up to 1295.6 cases per day or 18.8 cases per day per 100,000 people known for the week... and I would expect those figures to go up to 1300 and 19 respectively by Wednesday. The only question is whether this is the start of a continued increase as we saw last fall or if we'll get back to decreasing spread before Thanksgiving... my bet would be on the former.
