Last week I said we would likely find out that the prior week was higher than the week before it... turns out I was right but only slightly... but now we already know that last week had more cases than the week before last.  Note that June 19-25's cases increased by 10 cases per day between the report last week so expect the increase this week to turn out to be even higher.

Jun 19-25 2022         -    8.3 per day
Jun 26-Jul 2 2022     -    7.4 per day (roughly 3.75 times what we saw the same time last year)

This week, 1 year ago, saw the fewest deaths for the entirety of the pandemic at 1.3 deaths per day.  Something tells me we won't make it that low this year... there's even a question of whether we'll reach the 5.1 deaths per day we saw earlier this year.

Stay safe. Stay informed. Stay keeping your friends, family, and neighbors safe.
